Sankalp HMS connects appointments, patient history, consultations, admissions and financial records around shared patient context. A single-hospital application with a separate design demo.

Shared patient identity connects appointments, observations, consultation, billing and admissions.

Services, payments and balances stay together. Application APIs validate records and recalculate totals server-side.
Shared API contracts
OpenAPI artifacts generate frontend types, giving the Next.js interface and NestJS API a common request and response definition.
Connected records
Prisma and PostgreSQL model patients, encounters, admissions and bills. Atomic upserts reserve document numbers under concurrent requests.
Clear backend responsibilities
Controllers, services, policies and repositories separate concerns. Cookie-based sessions use scrypt password hashing and hashed session tokens.
Tools behind the work
Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Radix UI, TanStack Query/Table, React Hook Form and Zod. API and data: NestJS, Prisma, PostgreSQL and OpenAPI. Docker Compose supports the delivery setup.

Engineering describes the single-hospital application codebase; this preview has no API connection. Lab Orders and IVF Cycles are planned.
